The films are old, nobody realised Astin was such a crap actor back then!! It puzzles me why he uses a Weston Super Mare accent ....

Peter Jackson so needed someone to occasionally say no to him, can't fault the cast but he strays too far from the book. And physics.
Just seen the Starro Suicide Squad and thoroughly enjoyed it - very childish
Yes indeed, The Hobbit was never a three film book - and surprised by some of the missing characters in The Lord Of The Rings, Glorfindel and Tom Bombadil in particular, and, would have liked to have seen the "Scouring Of The Shire" to finish the films off ... .. . But, still my favourite films - I've spent thousands buying every conceivable release, it is quite entertaining in German, Japanese is the best though!
Suicide Squad .... nonplussed.
The New Matrix film .... what a waste of time, can only guess it was done for the money.
