Wow, you've taken on quite a project Steve but I'm sure it will look amazing when you've finished the reno. Do you have a job as well or can you dedicate your time to the house?

I can dedicate the time & have "experts" coming in to do all the stuff i can't do (leccy, heat pump installation, floor heating, demolition etc). I spent today ripping off the wood panelling & now have an impressive pile of fire wood. I know the guy next door is a transporter and he's giving us a good rate to take all the crap away. The window people called today to let me know they're all ready. The new front door's ready, the heat pump is being stored. It's all going a bit too smoothly for my liking. Thing is, I have a friend who decided to renovate his house and he's having a heap of issues with experts & materials not being available. We started ordering stuff & work capacity months ago so, fingers crossed, those sorts of problems should be minimal"
The basement will be the black zone Today I spent my time ripping off all that wood panelling. Now I have a lot of firewood Also ripped out all those dreadful built in cupboards One space is being used to store more firewood Place is looking a bit bigger already Kitchen furniture's going tomorrow. I love my club hammer & crow bar
