A garage full of insulation and a couple of bikes. Plus three rooms. One where the heat pump indoor unit and buffer tank lives (the engine room) , one that's storage for tools, beer, and various other stuff, and one that will become a darts room.

Been using epoxy paint to do one of the newly poured concrete floors in the basement. It's supposed to be very resistant to all sorts of abuse but it's a bastid to work with. Top tip by the way for anyone doing any painting with a roller & tray. Use a kitchen bin bag. Put the tray into the bin bag & tape it so it doesn't slide around. You can pour whatever paint you're using into the (now-lined) paint tray & use the roller as usual. Afterwards you can just chuck the bin bag away & you don't need to wash the paint tray Saves time & water.
Only to discover the concrete was laid on top of a bed of smashed grey asbestos tiles.
So the solution for that was to dig a huge hole to bury most of it. The rest will be levelled out before covered in a layer of fine gravel with the paving stones laid on top of that.
