Have to paint the cement floor in the "engine room" (where the heat pump & buffer tank etc. live). This is after scraping off all the lumps of plaster, sweeping & vacuuming, & coating it with a deep nano primer to seal in all the dust & small particles.
& this is after the first coat of paint which, for the base coat, needs to be mixed 1:1 with water so it gets into all the nooks & crannies in the surface.
I can't quite get my head around how different it looks.
So I have all the stair widths measured & all the available offcuts of wood to make form work marked up.
& it's paying off
At close of play today I have 6 more to do, 5 of which are the same width so I don't need to cut new bits of wood for those. Might need a few more wedges though. They are bloomin' useful little things
