"This is like the cherry on the top, isn't it? This Rock Hall of Fame induction," said O'Donnell. "It's kind of weird, really. It hasn't really sunk in."

Let´s see what going on in the next days.
I don´t want to get excited because we all know what could happen.
There Was Nothing in the World that I Ever Wanted More than to Feel You Deep in My Heart...
Wonder if they'll accept. Not sure if Robert even cares.
oh, he cares. might be worth getting HBO for the induction. anybody up for a bit of cure/roxy music hybrid? could be really interesting especially if Brian Eno shows up.
We all know Robert dislike info leakings about futures plans of the band. He wants to be always the first to tell everything.
In the past if I´m remember correctly, there was issues inside the band due some members leaked info, so hopefully this time won´t happen anything.
Roger is telling some great news, like Robert is working hard on lyrics, they´ll enter the studio next february, tours in autumn 2019 around Northamerica and maybe Southamerica.
Here's the venue in Brooklyn, Barclay's Center, for the March 29th induction show that hopefully TC will show up to play at. About a 20 minute walk from our home. Had some errands that took me through there today.
As much as I'm opposed to the RnRHoF because it smacks of high school yearbook superlatives and popularity contests (there's a lot of terrible popular stuff), I'm contemplating "joining" for $25 to get early access to tickets for that night. Supposedly, even if you donate at that minimum level, you will get the same early access to tickets as large donors (of course I take that with a HUGE grain of salt, as I'm sure many of the tickets are already spoken for).
I just don't think I could stand it if I knew they were playing that close and I passed up the chance.
^^what you said about popularity contests^^ but...the prospect of Cure and Roxy Music in one night is perhaps too good to pass up. I'm considering it.
But if you buy the "membership" how tough is it to get tickets? I'd hate to waste the $25 if it sells out in the first few minutes. Better to save the money for some later dates?
A dilemma...
It would be so perfect if you would just fall out the window
