Another one that has changed quite a bit live over the years is A Forest.. I love the one from the Great British Music Weekend (or whatever it was called)from Wembley in 1991. Robert was in a zone that night the way he was playing the guitar.

Yeah. It's become less of A Forest & more of a clearing of late

I have been so waiting for more agains, and for Robert to really rip it up at the end. But it's hard to do that when you have that many shows. His voice was obviously weak last night. But if on the last night of Wembley he really did a killer it would be great!
I know many people don't care much for The Hungry Ghost in any format, but I quite like the album version. However in my recent Boston/NYC tour experiences, that was the one and only song I didn't like as much (or more) in person as I do on the album.
I think pornography ( song ),because The wailing guitar , combined with drums that no cymbals and minimalist bass really sets up your descent into the madness and insecurity that awaits throughout the album. And is impossible to replicated this in a live version. However the Orange Version is almost there.
Never did get to the bottom of this, Pornography in Orange?!

I know I'm late to this one but I love the lyrics and concept of The Hungry Ghost. I'm not a fan of the album version but the more I listen to it the more I like it. So I must admit that I prefer it live over studio.
Nope. While the first outings on the European leg of 4Tour were dire, once they got the arrangement right going to North America it really started to rock & by the time they did the live 4:13 show in Rome it was delicious.
Finally found this topic (already posted on two other. Quarantine's not being easy). So, adding to the Charlotte Sometimes story, they have been playing it different (not only faster but different notes). I'll try to learn both ways and make a video or something.
