Talking about b-sides, last night I listened to Home for the first time (yeah, I know, shame on me...)... I don't know if it was the sleepiness or something similar but I quite liked it
Now I like it in small doses. I like the "head against stone" line which reminds me of the scene out of the Crow when Eric Draven leans against his wife's gravestone, just before they take Sarah.

I think WMS is quite underrated and is actually quite a good album. Some of my favourite Cure songs are from this album. Jupiter Crash is beautiful. <3 I also really like Numb, Treasure and Bare. Strange Atraction and The 13th are very catchy, to me. Want is a brilliant opener! Oh and Mint Car is catchy too and I like the video even Club America get's stuck in my head ha.

I listened to all albums of The Cure, and when i listened WMS, i fell in love, why because is just the best of the best <3 <3 they have to be passionate to write such brilliant music, and this album is just amazing My favorite song is my Jupiter Crash (oh course) i never have enough of this song or this album, who can
I agree with Round and Round but This is a Lie is a brilliant song. The lyrics are brilliant and deep. "How can a person be with one person for their entire life." It takes a look at that perspective. And the fact it is written almost like a symphony is brilliant. The drums build toward the end. It's a master piece.
As far as Numb I understand Numb completely. You just want to numb yourself from the world because there are things in it that are too painful to bare. Isn't that sort of Robert's theme?
WMS Is a brilliant album. I will maintain that until I take my last breath.
I would have liked to be there when you started this discution , I totally agree with you this album is brilliant I can listen to lots of different artists or songs, this album will forever be the first in my heart
You're such a wonderful person living a fabulous life Sensational dazzling perfectly sized Such a wonderful person living a fabulous life Sharing it with me in club america tonight...

I really like this album. Well, there are some songs I always skip (The 13th, Return, Round & Round & Round), but also some I really love, like Want, Jupiter Crash, This is a Lie, Treasure, Bare. Sure, it's not their best one , but to me it's definitely not as awful as some say And the b-sides, come on... The 13th has some really amazing b-sides, It used to be me, Ocean, Adonais; and I always loved Waiting, too. I wonder why they didn't end up on the album, they're way better than some songs there.
