I never hated Wild mood swing. It's true that the track listing could have been better with the b-sides, but anyway, to me it's more listenable than 4:13...

Listen missy I don't go in the Simon thread and make fun of his silly side burns. Lololololol.
Judging by the recent interview/rehearsal vid, we suspect that he's finally shaved them off!
Now that he's got his shiny new (pink!!) Orange 5 bike, they were probably causing SO much drag on the downhills and getting caught in all the trees, etc (not to mention trapping bugs, small birds, the occasional hedgehog, etc) that he's simply had to get rid of 'em!!
You'll probably find that somewhere in his back yard, there is a very happy robin with the best nest liners EVER!!
(...sorry Simon...!!)
The early bird might get the worm, but the second mouse gets the cheese.
I knew it wouldn't be long before the old WMS debate started up again. I'm definitely on Team WMS! Both from a sentimental point of view (it was the first Cure album I ever bought) and because I think it's fantastic.
WMS is classic schizophrenic Cure. Yes it's a few tracks too long, and R & R & R is the musical equivalent of a trip to the dentist, but it's quirky, different, musically and lyrically diverse - much like KMKMKM. If a couple of the B-sides had replaced some of the weaker tracks (club America, for example), there would have been a lot more love for this album. Oh - and Mint Car is definitely the happiest song ever written!
your name...like ice into my heart...a shllow grave...a monument to the ruined age...ice in my eyes...and eyes like ice don't move...screaming at the moon...as cold as silence...and you never will say a word...this is my name...and a strange day...ever and ever and ever again......
