Kitchen is half built. Still waiting on a few panels and the work top to finish it, but it was so nice to slot the oven into its place today. Hopefully some photos tomorrow after the last available bits are added & I've set the clock on the oven. Also managed to switch the door opening direction on the rather sexy Liebherr fridge freezer so that's ready to slot into it's housing.

The oven, great! Now you'll have a place to dry your bras...

“Cool your bras” is I think what you meant….

It's open at one end so I can access cables the rear panels on the amp, BR player, media box, TV, SACD player, etc but there will be a door so the moggy can't get behind & wreck anything.

This is where the old boiler/ furnace used to be. Now that hole is full of wall & will get steel re-enforced concrete on top. Still need to cut the metal door frame down with an angle grinder but that's a little bit of extra, usable space in the garage.
Remember that grotty red & white disaster of a kitchen in the old video? This is what it looks like today
Fridge/ freezer & dishwasher all built in & the cupboard doors are all soft-close types, so no slamming them. Just needs the wall tiles & the have the sink & dishwasher plumbed in & it'll be ready to make a mess in.
MDF with beech veneer. Tried to get something to match the floor tiles& they're quite close. It's a nice warm tone for the bedroom I think & there are no door handles. They pop open when you push them. There's a TV going in the hole in the middle with a UHD blu ray player connected to the internet (the LAN socket goes downstairs to the router) for netflix & wotnot. It's starting to look like a home rather than just a house

You hit the nail on the head with that last sentence. It's what I was thinking when I saw the kitchen, too.
