I've noticed a passive/aggressive thing going on with Hamilton & Toto Wolff in the press. I wouldn't be shocked if Hamilton were driving for a another team next season.
I hope Checo stitches Max up today & doesn't let him pass. Sounds like Max's drive shaft is on its way out though. In other news, Ferrari still bungling on informing their drivers where the competitors are. Leclerc's really not happy.
The FiA are so fecking crooked. They just hit Alonso with a post race 10 second penalty after judging his 5 second penalty wasn't served correctly (a mechanic touch his car with a jack while it was being served apparently). They had 30 laps to let Aston Martin know & didn't say a thing. Not an Alonso fan myself, but this is so amateur it beggars belief.

My thoughts is Race Control didn't notice it, and another constructor (Probably Mercedes) alerted them to it. Unfortunately rules are rules but horribly harsh.
They decided touching the car with the jack didn't constitute working on the car. Correct call I think
Agreed. But isn't that why Ocon go the extra penalties last race?! I thought someone touched his car.
The difference with Ocon's penalty was that the mechanic actually lifted the car slightly which counts as working on it. There was a bit of a spat between Aston Martin & FiA last night to clarify the rule as merely touching the car isn't really nailed down &, in reality, isn't actually doing anything productive at all. That's why they backed up. But you can be sure they will add this little detail to the rules at their next bun fight later this week.
I'm wondering how Red Bull is so much faster than everyone else considering the cars are supposed to be basically "the same". I would love for Red Bull to get caught cheating & have the whole thing blow up. I had to watch yesterday's race on a recording as I had a lost phone scare (I found it. Whew!). Pretty good race all things considered.

Man, RB is the team you love to hate. Or, just hate, really. If something doesn't shake up, this is going to be a really boring season.
