The (not so) Empty World

Yes, I've been there lot of times, and will go again in a couple of weeks. 

My first recommendation would be to go down through the coast from Lisbon to the south. The area is called Alentejo and is so wonderful. Then, further to the south, reach de Cape of San Vicente and explore an area called Algarve, packed of wonderful beaches, landscapes and charming towns. 

But given the time of the year you are planning to go, I would probably suggest to go up and visit Porto, one of the most fascinating cities I've ever been. The area surrounding Porto is also amazing.

Portugal is a wonderful country.

And don't leave Porto without having Francesinha and a port tasting tour.

Should you ever find yourself in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, I highly recommend visiting the Yamnuska Wolfdog Santuary.  It’s located between Calgary and Banff National Park. 

I recently did the Interactive Tour and got up close to several wolfdogs and learnt all about them. Honestly, it was so much fun! I absolutely loved it, and spent a few additional hours after the tour just roaming around. Here are a few photos that I took;
