Well, I got COVID. Woke up feeling really sick this morning so I did a home test. Came up positive. Called my doc's answering service & she sent a prescription for Paxlovid to my pharmacy. Just got home from picking it up (no contact). This totally blows up my schedule. Luckily I had stocked up on groceries as I was supposed to have another round of chemo on Tuesday. I feel like shiat.

PLEASE read up on drug-drug interactions with Paxlovid. It's a pretty long list. You don't want any clashes in that department. I am not even normally in this thread - but I get emails from it, and what you just said clearly alerted me enough to post!

My doctor went over my extensive meds list (I have a lot of bad issues) with me on the phone. Had me stop 2 for the duration. Thank you for the head's up though.

Recently found out that my coworker has been hospitalized due to worsening covid-related symptoms. He has young kids and a wife btw. Hoping everything turns out okay. It’s scary.
