Thank you for your support everyone! I picked up some anti-viral meds for her at the pharmacy yesterday. She’ll be taking six pills every day (3 in the morning and 3 in the evening) for the next five days. She’s also 3x vaccinated too, so that should ease things for her. At least hopefully it’ll help.

How is your mom doing? & your sis & niece?
Hi chuckrh, thank you for asking about my family, it’s very kind of you. My sister and niece are still testing positive, but both of them are very much on the mend. In fact, my sister returned to work (she works from home) last Thursday, so she’s feeling a lot better. Mom is doing okay, those antivirals have really helped her out. She’s coughing quite a bit though and is extremely tired. Otherwise though, I think overall she’s doing alright.
Took a self-administered Covid test and it came back negative. My throat has been super sore and dry for a few days, but maybe it’s due to all the smoke from the forest fires up north?
PSA: If anyone is interested (meaning did not have Covid in the past few months) - the bivalent boosters in the US are now schedulable at CVS pharmacies - I got Pfizer one yesterday (in NYC; corner of Mulberry and Houston). If you play with zip codes and dates, you should be able to find a reasonable location/time. www.cvs.com/vaccine/intake/store/schedule-options

Fingers crossed it's ultimately nothing to be concerned about.

Thank you! I’m sure I’m fine. Even if I do have it, maybe it’ll be mild! I’m really thinking my symptoms are from all the smoke I’ve been inhaling.

I'm un-stickifying this thread. It's about time I think
What a journey. I am grateful to this community for the perspective and advice as we navigated the early days, and the humor and camaraderie in the years since regarding the pandemic. ❤️
