I have a friend who is a bee scientist. Her work sometimes involves preparing specimens for display. She uses a mascara wand and hairdryer sometimes to brush their fuzz so they look beautiful.
My philodendron from work really wanted to clone itself so I made a cutting and put it in water a few weeks ago. Itās the first time Iāve successfully propagated this way. Itās making some great roots! I will plant it in the next few days.

This is weird & only noticed it today. There are footprints going across the lawn that have turned the grass brown!!! We don't use any chemicals on the garden!?!?

That is really weird! Are you sure someone isn't just walking reaaaaallly slowly?

Harvested a load of figs today for Akos who is making palinka with them. And I got fig burn. The sap is really quite nasty & if any of you are harvesting figs, I recommend gloves & long sleeves. If you get the stuff on your skin, wash it off with soap & water asap & maybe use aloe vera to sooth any soreness.
