I have a friend who is a bee scientist. Her work sometimes involves preparing specimens for display. She uses a mascara wand and hairdryer sometimes to brush their fuzz so they look beautiful.

My philodendron from work really wanted to clone itself so I made a cutting and put it in water a few weeks ago. It’s the first time I’ve successfully propagated this way. It’s making some great roots! I will plant it in the next few days.

I'll see if there's anything new in the morning. The prints are smaller than my feet & the stride is shorter so I'm ruling myself out

Harvested a load of figs today for Akos who is making palinka with them.
And I got fig burn.
The sap is really quite nasty & if any of you are harvesting figs, I recommend gloves & long sleeves.
If you get the stuff on your skin, wash it off with soap & water asap & maybe use aloe vera to sooth any soreness.
