Lots of heavy lifting. Akos from next door asked if I could help move a load of heavy furniture & appliances with him. Of course I said yes. These were possibly the heaviest wardrobes & cupboards I have ever come across. Bonus! They had to be moved from one place to another but up stairs!. Not to worry, we managed it.
Always helping out, you. Hope your back is a-OK!
Quite amazingly, my back's doing great. I am a bit achy through the shoulders but that's to be expected after carrying all

Actual photograph of the chest & stomach of a Cure fan for over 40 years, from the north of England, who took off his shirt for just 2 minutes in 28 degrees sunshine.
In accordance with this forums strick guidance of male nudity the booby area has been taped over
I put a big gash in my leg with a sack full of broken tiles. 5cm long & 5-6mm deep. Ended up going to A&E to have it cleaned, steri-stripped & dressed 7 got a tetanus jab thrown in. Now I have to try not to get it wet for a few days which will make showering a challenge that I'll have to meet given the temperature will be in the mid 30ºc's this week & I don't want to end up a total smelly, sweaty old goth
Rescued a little bird from the jaws of a cocker spaniel. Happy to say that this little fledgling flew off after the shock wore off. Bingo is mad as hell at me though as I didn’t allow him to ‘finish the job’.

Poor thing; it’s so adorable, especially its mouth.

In the short time I had him, little fledgling and I bonded. I knew he was starting to feel better when he started to gently peck at my hand. I really hope he’s doing okay, and that I’ll see him again. Btw Bingo had his back to me most of the evening and kept sighing. Ha!
