Not having a car, I walk pretty much everywhere or use public transport. Thankfully, I have a lovely 12-minute walk to work. So, I see a lot of interesting stuff, some good, some not so good.

How about a thread dedicated to what we see walking around? Seeing as this is an intl forum, it also provides a great way to see everyone's surroundings in a world that is portrayed as more and more divided all the time.

Here is mine for today. A nice holiday picture. This is how the moneyed decorate.

First snow of the year here! I worked outside for two hours at a charity Christmas tree sale. It was fun, but now I am wet and cold.

Here's to the beginning of the season where our garbage won't get picked up regularly because the trash trucks get used to plow the streets...

Well, you remember the flower shop opposite where I am?
In the summer there are a couple of ducks that visit it every year & hang around outside. Customers & people passing by always stop to take photos & Vikki (who owns the shop) puts a plate of corn out for them to eat. They sort of drag it around & corn starts growing in really odd places.
