Yes! This! I have had it with Carol. The writers have completely lost their way with this character. When they revealed that she was the one who released Negan to kill Alpha, I was so ticked off. It made every bad decision she made in the previous couple of episodes worse. Reckless and needless, even.

My wife gets so mad at me because for the last season or so when we watch the show, every time Carol comes on the screen I inadvertently swear at her or mutter that I hate that character under my breath. lol

Rick left because Andrew Lincoln wanted to pursue other things, and Michonne left because Danai Gurira has a flourishing career as a playwright and an in-demand movie actress. It was the actors leaving, not the writer's intentionally wanting to write them off the show. 

My wife would be right there with you on that one. lol

Also, what does “a night on the tiles” mean?

Was that the last episode of the season ??
