The last few episodes have been really good.
Last night's was great. Not sure how they're going to get out of this one though. Unless Michonne & the whole of Oceanside suddenly rock up & wipe out the horde.

It was her last episode.

True, it’s very much in keeping with the show’s ethos that she leaves to join up with some other story happening in this larger universe, but it’s an unfortunate look to have one of your main characters depart into a “wider world of adventures,” only for a viewer to think, “Hey, wait, that actually looks way more intriguing, why can’t we see that?”

Post-production work on the episode wasn’t complete before it had to shutdown over the coronavirus.

My interest in this show is waning, especially if they’ve killed off another main character. Who’s left? Darryl and Carol are the only 2 original characters left. I do like Negan though so, for the moment I guess I’ll continue watching it.

Nooooo. Not Carol. She's a bada$$

Not really bothered about Rick, but I am maybe not the only one curious about Michonne after she was last seen legging it towards that massive gathering of people.

Yes! This! I have had it with Carol. The writers have completely lost their way with this character. When they revealed that she was the one who released Negan to kill Alpha, I was so ticked off. It made every bad decision she made in the previous couple of episodes worse. Reckless and needless, even.

My wife gets so mad at me because for the last season or so when we watch the show, every time Carol comes on the screen I inadvertently swear at her or mutter that I hate that character under my breath. lol

Rick left because Andrew Lincoln wanted to pursue other things, and Michonne left because Danai Gurira has a flourishing career as a playwright and an in-demand movie actress. It was the actors leaving, not the writer's intentionally wanting to write them off the show. :'(
