Good grief! They got the plane (they rebuilt) in the air....after leading a hoard of walkers to it mind you.
& judging by the shaking I foresee a few pairs of brown trousers on board.
I did love when Grace "fixed" Morgan's stick though :-*

& that has to be the prettiest airfield/ landing strip ever.
Shame this guy turned up

Finished!

It's got a completely satisfying and bittersweet end but there is absolutely no way that the tv version can do the book ending.

It's not a major spoiler but if you like characters with bad mullets - that one makes it to the finish line!
A few others too, including some that the tv show has already got rid of but I'm saying no more
