No, not yet, Kirstie. I have to, although it scares me a bit at the same time. I have lot of plans for this year and the next one regarding music projects and I don’t wanna hear bad news. But yeah, I have to go as soon as possible. Noise is still manageable, but looks like it might grow quite easily if I don’t take care.
Bit proud. My ISP called to try to sell me their 1000mbps broadband upgrade. Managed to negotiate with them to ditch a couple of movie channels that never get watched, upgrade the internet speed & it'll cost about 5 Euro less per month than the current subscription. Result!

We’re getting taken to the cleaners every month for our service. Please come help!

If there's competition, then you have the upper hand. Especially if you've been with your provider for a good amount of time. Look at all your other options, talk to the providers, & if any offer a better deal take that back to your existing provider & tell them. If they want to keep you, they'll cave in. If they don't then, change provider for the better deal. If you play them off each other they'll pretty much fight for the business

Wow that's the opposite to my recent phonecall.
I had to ring to change address and lower my speed package due to local infrastructure... They quoted a ridiculous amount and when challenged didn't even try to keep me as a customer.

Fortunately, Mr. K does all that. I don't give a rats about what we have available on the telly, etc. as I would happily live in a cave with no electronics.
Sadly, here we have very little competition in the market.

That's always our experience here, too. They just can't be bothered...

Now we have decent broadband I've ditched my server, I can seed torrents without the need of a seedbox, saving £50 per month. It's bizarre that virtually every ISP in the UK uses Open Reach to supply broadband but they all have wildly different prices, Sky wanted an extra £6 per month just for giving me a WiFi 6 router, they were most peeved when I explained I have a Nighthawk router.

Every month it feels like there's a new fibre provider ripping up the road to install their cables, which is good competition for Open Reach I suppose.
EYTA:Sorry so long Feeling a little sad. My mentor asked me to call her this morning. It turns out her husband has an aortal aneurism and will have open heart surgery in a few weeks. He is 78. They live on about 7 mountainous acres and it's spring, so this time of year he's usually working on the land 6-8 hours a day to clean things up.
To top it off, their son, who is my age, just got out of jail in a southeast asian country he's lived in for a couple of decades bc of a second visa violation. It caused them lots of stress not knowing where he was. He traipsed around to a few other countries once he was released a few weeds ago and thrown out of where he was imprisoned, but is planning on buying his way back in. I am so mad at him.
My mentor confided she's having memory troubles, which worries me. Stress can do that, but at that age, so can other things. Enjoy the people in your life while you can.
I met these two in my early 20's and they're my "chosen parents." Please keep Gary in your thoughts. This is a still of him from the Lama Foundation video below, which was filmed in 1973 (it's dubbed in Swedish, so hard to recognize much). He's such a cool guy. He writes music and poetry and lived with the Weather Underground for a while they were in hiding. I may fly out to them for his surgery, if I can.
Upper left arm broke out in a rash earlier this week, which is the spot that always tells me I am having an immune response to something. I'm in a fibromyalgia flare and I have no idea why. The last one lasted 3 months, but that was before diagnosis and treatment. Feeling better than I was yesterday, so I'm hoping it's just a brief one.
