Anxious. I am not great being around people I don't know and I am going to a party next door tomorrow where there will be a lot of them. Bit scared really.
I would offer to loan you Charlie, but I assume you want to remain on speaking terms with the neighbours.

Doesn't that come with the territory of being a Cure fan? Did we become fans because we weren't good around other people, or are we not good with people because we're Cure fans? 🤔

I think it's an instance of circular causality at play...
So the party went OK then? From what you remember...
Luckily I knew most of the people there, so that was a huge relief.
I went to a big family party for my uncle's 90th birthday Saturday & didn't know a lot of people. Like second cousins, cousin's spouses etc. It was a nice gathering & I'm glad I went. My aunt (85) has been about the only family who has made an effort to stay in touch. She put it best & said that the party was much better than waiting for a memorial service. My uncle claims he's going to live to 100 though.
You know that scene from The Omen, Damien riding around on his tricycle and knocks (I've forgotten who but it's somebody someone off the balcony? It was similar to that but with no balcony involved, just a door frame. Only I could manage to miss the open doorway and headbutt the doorframe instead. No, it wasn't Charlie!

Yes, I remember it quite clearly. It was his mother, played by Lee Remick.

Just watched that scene (have never seen the movie). You were somehow left hanging from the banister? But really, I am not sure I understand what happened to you! You hit your head on the doorframe while riding a trike? You're very tall and usually have to duck?
Did you drive yourself to the hospital while somebody applied pressure to your head?
