A lot of those songs worked quite well live. Would be nice if they brought back Perfect Boy I think. Very much enjoyed Down Under too. Newer b-sides to be played in the future Rob?
Freakshow was the best single off 4:13 Dream. #fact
In Sunrise, florida, the song seemed to go well, but Robert was his own harshest critic. After the song he, uh, hugged the speaker wall and mimed fornication yelling "Baba baba freakshow freakshow baba baba freakshow freakshow".
But I'm sure he got lots of practice in the years following, always a frequent setlist choice.
Don't know if this is separate from the old Sunrise 2008 video, looks like a newer upload. The guy stopped at The Kiss, and Freakshow was the next song! Not a fan, I guess...
The Atlanta - Gwinnett Center 15.06.2008 show is one of my favorites. Great sound, setlist is good, and this was the show just before I saw them live, so the mood is very similar.
These lucky Georgia fans got Other Voices and The Kyoto Song. They also got the song from my bucket list, Charlotte Sometimes. Still waiting to hear that one, live...
Also, and this is just dessert for me, Signal to Noise. I would have liked a whole album that sounded like this as a theme.
Listening to Wembley Arena, London, March 20th 2008.
The Zoom-recorded concert has most of the songs of the main setlist. I love hearing "A Night Like This" and "Alt.End" back to back. (The latter being something this tour lineup does very well.)
Does anyone else thing that Wish should have been given the full name of the song it's named for? Was "To Wish for Impossible Things" too long to fit on a CD case? Or maybe today's market (I say this almost 30 years gone) is too shallow for long titles.

Wish is a great title, doesnt need to be longer
This was my comeback show after avoiding them for 13 years, great gig - fell in love all over again!
I was fully prepared to sleep in a bus shelter or at the train station after the show as I hadn't bothered with a hotel booking & my flight back to Hungary was the following day. But I met a great lady who offered me her sofa for the night (no hanky panky, don't panic). They were planning to do a few surprises apparently but decided it was getting a bit too dangerous down the front. Reminds me. I must give the DVD a spin sometime

I’m pretty sure I remember RS saying that To Wish Impossible Things and the album title are not related and that the title is not a short version to that track.
If you have a lead on Brisbane 21 August 1992 - CT version, for the love of Bob, let me know. Please!
Been awhile. Got my J&J shot, taking Bayer for a recurring headache from that.
Listening to Palau Sant Jordi - Barcelona - 10-03-2008.
The songs Want and Never Enough have added meaning for me. I guess what gives The Cure longevity for me is that songs that meant nothing to me when they came out resound in a personal way as I get grayer.
I bought the Never Enough CD single years ago. Now I want to play it again!

Sometimes I botch up a show listing. I put "[Bootleg] Wellingtons - Winnepeg (Canada) (1981.29.08)" in with the 2008 shows. One of those single CD bootlegs.
Nice change of pace. The Holy Hour starts things off, show closes with Grinding Halt. A real pleasing setlist, but then I like any show from this year.
Listening to Robert Smith being interviewed before (or after) by National Public Radio at Philadelphia, Wachovia Spectrum. 10.05.2008.
Robert in 2008: I actually don't to be touring in 10 years, I'd be quite horrified if we were doing that.
Technically the “we” at the time wasn’t touring ten years later. Maybe he too couldn’t stomach the idea of 4Cure for such an extended period of time. Hahahahahahahah
