I love so much DM, I can't live without I think. Tonight I'm going to listen new album and I'm really excited!! From Letterman Show I liked Should be higher an Sooth my soul...obviously Heaven that is a really deep song...I can't wait to listening the full album, tomorrow I'll write a short review about it!
How much more can we use it up?
drink it dry?
take this drug?
looking for something forever gone
but something
we will always want?
Thanks guillaume for posting Telerama interview. It's nice to hear this kind of stuff. Depeche Mode are obviously one of the biggest bands in the world and their sound is very unusual - it's easy to distinguish it. I listened to their new album few days ago on Youtube. Few tracks really got me but in general I'm not quite sure how I feel about it. Perhaps I just need to give it more listening.

P.S. Speaking of new tour - I noticed that they added Netherlands to their tour list but it's on Winter called Tour: The Delta Machine Tour – European Winter Leg. I think they are going to add more countries, so Ireland might be there too

On March 15, synthpop legends Depeche Mode played their first-ever South By Southwest show in Austin, Texas. The rare intimate club gig, which was their first proper concert since 2010 (aside from a private show they did for "Live on Letterman"), was presented by Yahoo! at new venue Brazos Hall and attended by the likes of Usher and celebrity manager Scooter Braun, and it was a major black celebration for fans who'd won coveted tickets via a SXSW lottery drawing.
If you weren't one of the lucky 800 festivalgoers who made it into the show--or if you didn't get down to Austin this year--here's your chance to check out Depeche's set, featuring a mix of classic favorites and new cuts from the band's hotly anticipated 13th album Delta Machine, which comes out today. From the new single "Heaven" to the audience singalong of "Enjoy The Silence," check out the Mode's fantastic performance!
The interview calls Andrew Fletcher a 'multi-instrumentalist'....
...errrrrrr....
...um...
Yeah. Right.
Methinks that could only apply to Alan Wilder, because a. Fletch is (musically) pretty much the Lol of the band and b. Alan can play just about any instrument shoved under his nose!!
The early bird might get the worm, but the second mouse gets the cheese.
I've watched on the weekend the rest of a documentary about Depeche Mode and a journalist said that Andrew Fletcher told her that he doesn't talk to Dave Gahan. Isn't it strange? Always thought that they're friends, but it seems they aren't. Okay, i have not that huge knowledge about DM
I walk wondering why, the same dream so many times

If there is thing that I can not digest by DM - then their personal relations. Already for more than 20 years - they are just company, held together by the money. They are still one of my top five bands (and are since 1987), but this is so unnatural to me. If you can not see each other or you are not able to talk at least - then split and that's it.

An impression of sound Then everything is gone Forever
Isn't it a bit sad, when bad members don't talk to each other? Heard this yesterday for the first time and i was anstonished Maybe DM are together like you said because of the money and it doesn't bother them not communicate to each other or not that much, i mean a minimum.
