We don’t live anywhere close to the areas that are receiving those +50 temperatures (actually, they’re close to chuckrh ), but it’s still nearly as hot as hades here in the prairies. Sounds like it’s a hot summer in general for those who are located in the northern hemisphere.
Don’t worry about Mr. Pup, whenever I take him for a walk, I bring a couple of tins of water and a bowl for him.
It felt downright cold this morning, so much so that I wore a fleece when I took pup out for his morning constitutional. And boy did that chilly air feel good! Apparently, by Thursday it’ll be super hot again, but at least we have today to ‘chill out’!

We need some effing rain pretty desperately. There are forest fires raging up north that are so intense that the sky here in the ‘south’ is hazy and the air is super thick with smoke. We even had an air quality warning yesterday and today from Environment Canada, which is saying something as we never get them! Prayers for Rain’ are needed!

I read about the fires. Hope you're out of the way of all that. Could do with a lot of rain here too. I can't remember the last time we had any
When we had our heat wave a few weeks ago it got so hot that some oysters, clams, etc in shellfish farms actually cooked & popped open in the water they were being grown in. Eesh!
