Forecast is for over 100 F starting on Sunday in Seattle. I don't remember the last time a forecast that high. 90's sure but 100 is ridiculous. It'll be a dry heat though....haha.

I hope your ac unit is functioning well ‘cause it’s going to get a mighty workout this weekend!
If I lived in Seattle, I’d head straight for that huge pool you have (eg Pacific Ocean) and would stay until the weather cooled down.
Oh wow it’s humid today! Maybe TMI, but just finished doing some work outside and I’m dripping. Looking forward to it cooling off.
It's the same here. There was a storm yesterday evening. Lots of thunder & lightning & rain that I thought would break the sticky spell we're having. No such luck. In fact, it seems to have got stickier

Yeah it’s no fun watching the flowers wilt while you stick to your chair !
You could go for a swim in that beautiful lake though right ? A little dip sounds heavenly right now. I’m going to turn on the sprinkler right away.
Forecast for Monday in Seattle is now 109 F/ 43 C. I think that will be the all time record. Tomorrow its only going to be 100 F. 95 F today. & it's only June!

All you can do is lay low and wait it out or if you’re up to it, you could play in the sprinkler! (That’s what I’m doing right now !)

The thing with the lake is that it's quite shallow. The only way you'll get near water cool enough to be a relief is to go out on a boat. Around the coasts the average water temperature right now is 26ºc
steve wow - that’s some warm water ! The lakes here are brrrrrrr freezing, even in July!
I think you’d look pretty cool though if you bought yourself an inflatable flamingo water-toy-thingy and floated around on it in the lake all summer ! Very very cool. I’d do it !

I feel your pain steve. It "only" got to 108F yesterday which was still good enough for all time highest recorded temperature in Seattle beating the record of 103F set the day before. Thankfully, the forecast for today is 88-90F which is still plenty warm by my reckoning. I am hoping I can be home from my COVID test before the hottest part of the day. Looks doable. I have some fine mango popsicles still in case of emergency.
Just arrived home from an hour-long walk with pup and I am dripping. Time for another shower! Pup is currently lying on his frozen ice-pack/blanket thingy looking worn out. Apparently, in a few days it’ll be about 40, which is like super hot for here. A frozen margarita sounds perfect right now.

You take care with the heat. I read some parts of Canada are nudging 50ºc & people are dying. Drink plenty of water & keep Bingo hydrated too
We don’t live anywhere close to the areas that are receiving those +50 temperatures (actually, they’re close to chuckrh), but it’s still nearly as hot as hades here in the prairies. Sounds like it’s a hot summer in general for those who are located in the northern hemisphere.
Don’t worry about Mr. Pup, whenever I take him for a walk, I bring a couple of tins of water and a bowl for him.
