As far as I remember they said they wrote 19 new songs for the upcoming album from which they create the album. Does not sound to me they will re-use previous written songs. But maybe the song does sound simply bloodflowerish (have not listened to it yet).
Will just have to wait a couple of hours to be able to listen to it. But it would be a bit disappointing to me if it is really the same music just with lyrics. They were all raving about the newly composed songs and that they (or Robert) have to decide which one will make it on the new album but than they recycle an old one? Did Robert introduce the song as "New Song" at the concert?

It'a new song as it's never been released before. The band has always used old ideas to make new songs: 1st Plastic Passion version became A night like this, World War became Shake Dog Shake, Uyea Sounds became Underneath the stars and so on... It's never been a problem, why should it be now ?
Will have to wait until I can finally listen to it, but if it is true that it is the same music just with lyrics (and not only using some elements of Lost Flowers I) than it would be to me personally disappointing, because I was expecting new music and I do not like the Lost Flowers I demo very much. From your examples I think that most (not all) of them used only (minor) elments of previous demos/songs and that after all they sound like different songs.

Yes I did and from the examples that has been already mentioned here in this thread it is the only one where I would say this is basically (more or less) the same song and not only using some minor elements. The thing is I heard this version of Plastic Passion (like probably most of us) only ages after "A night Like This" while I know the Lost Flowers demos for years and for me it is personally a bit disappointing expecting new music and than hearing a Bloodflowers Outtake. Further on I already wrote that I was not very fond of the Lost Flower Track in the first place. Really do not know where the problem is with having different opinions and I see no use in telling me what I should find disappointing or not. I like (even love) the other tracks of the upcoming album that has been played so far and I am still looking forward to the new album.
