You might have more chance of getting Brisbane '92 than this
I don't know how obtrusive taping is, but that's a pretty small venue. I got a few seconds of poor video on night one from the balcony, but was quickly shut down. Security was pretty aware of what was going on. Not sure that's got anything to do with it, but it's my lame attempt at an answer...

Depends on your rig I suppose. Some tapers just put a device with onboard mics in a shirt or jacket pocket and off they go. Others have a full on rig with battery pack, clip-on mics on glasses or a hat, and some just use an iPhone (with varying and often surprising results)!
I know this date was taped as I was talking to a guy whose brother taped it. I had a line on that tape but then he went silent, sooo no goods there. That was the same guy who taped the night before and maybe the first night too (can’t quite recall). It’s taped, if it’s on cure-concerts.de, someone had to pass the info onto Andreas, but that’s all I know.
If you have a lead on Brisbane 21 August 1992 - CT version, for the love of Bob, let me know. Please!
Soooooo…..nobody has this, or nobody “can” share it?
I've been trading tapes and collecting bootlegs since 1991 and from my experience so far, the "RARE SWOP ONLY" phenomenon is exclusive to the Cure community.
Back in the day, whenever I would get a rare tape of anything, my immediate reaction was to seed it and even in the nascent days of the internet before the web had pictures, I was using it to do "Blanks & Postage" offers and seed the heck out of it because the idea was to make sure that as many people as possible could also share in the joy so this practice is anathema to me

Haha, try prising old Sisters recordings into the open. Or Radiohead. Or even Blur.

It’s not exclusive to the cure. Happens in TOOL and Faith No More as well. Have heard of it in many other trading circles too. Radiohead is one too.

Pretty much any band that has people taping has a rare swap only crowd. Bottom line is that the taper's wishes are respected. That's just simple courtesy really
