Latifi binned it into a barrier on the formation lap in full wets & commentards have been blathering on about the FIA being "hypercautious" & "it's only intermediate" conditions
Action packed (with breaks) race so far. Weather here is dismal, so having a big sports day is just the ticket. Start off with Monaco, then on to Indy 500, then some combination of Charlotte 600, baseball, game 7 of NBA Eaastern Conference finals. I stocked up on food yesterday so I can be a total bum today.
Alonso an absolute disgrace. Just pootling along in 7th as slow as possible to hold everyone behind him up. He grew the gap between him and Norris to 33 seconds. On purpose. What a joke
I like Norris. He seems to run pretty well most of the races. All in all a satisfying to watch Monaco, except for the delays of course. Hopefully Indy will be as good as last year. Already better than last year in one way: not in the hospital for this year's race. A plus! Also, I have absolutely no medical appointments this coming week. First time in a long time. Not that they're not needed but its nice to have a bit of a break. Also have 2 concerts that should be great this week. Interesting note: Bob Dylan has banned cell phones at his show. He just turned 81 last week so we'll give him that & not whine. More later on that show & Mike Campbell & the Dirty Knobs after they happen. They just sang "Back Home in Indiana" so it's race time again!
Stroll hits the anchors and gently nudges a crash barrier. So he reverse and gets back underway & properly bins the car into another barrier two turns later. LOL
