The video is blocked in my country. Which episode is it? I remember one which is an atomic alert and a family hasn't got a shelter so they want to force the door of the shelter of their neighbour's and obviously that means that when the door is broken, both family are condemned... until in the end they hear that was a radio program explaining what could happen and what people should have done... It's a bit like what happened with the redaing of The War of The Worlds on the radio or I Am A Legend and so many other... When you see people fight the the last batch of toilet paper in the supermarket or not respecting the queue at the Post Office, no no, I have no belief in the majority of the human race for that... 'Speaking of dog pooh', if i may say, ^^, as long as people continue to allow and do tha,t no i won't believe in people.
Actually the total is about 155,000 worldwide according to this Johns Hopkins interactive map. Allegedly though there are 500,000 infected but they just don't know it yet.(take that stat with a grain of salt as that is a hypothesis)
OH and odds are high Russia and North Korea are either not reporting or under reporting as I believe many other countries are including my own. Don't let that stat fool you.

episode "to serve man". final line: It's a cookbook!!!!
I've never seen The Twilight Zone. Don't understand what that cook line means.
aliens come & start giving humans advanced stuff. they have a book called to serve man. only cover in english. humans work to translate the book & at the end of show succeed. turns out aliens want to fatten up earth for the slaughter. someone yells it's a cookbook! classic episode.
I've not seen the symptoms first hand, but what about the vast number that might have the virus but are just riding the wave at home without seeing a doctor etc?

Yes, since in most cases the symptoms are relatively mild and can be ridden out without medical intervention. That, coupled with the fact many / most people in the US have either atrocious health care coverage or none at all and people know there aren't enough tests means many, many will not seek diagnosis or medical care here.

here in Seattle there is still serious shortage of test kits. i tried to get one about 2 weeks ago but since i didn't have all of the symptoms couldn't. now the criteria has changed but there is still a shortage. i'm hoping to be set up for one tuesday when i see my doctor. have been in constant contact with both my doctors since this started. am self isolating as i have still have some symptoms.
travel ban in US has been extended to UK & Ireland. also, Norway is closing its borders to all foreigners. rumour has it there has been talk about isolating the west coast of US & New York. should be interesting how that works. most likely, too little too late. the bigger problem here is the hospitals & medical facilities are already starting to feel overwhelmed by the at risk people who have gotten sick from the virus. & it is just beginning. the fallacy of the US medical system is coming to light in a real ugly way.
