We're all fully recovered here in the Weedy household. Thankfully, I never had anything worse than mild cold-like symptoms. My wife had it slightly worse off with some congestion, headaches, fatigue, and brain fog... but all of that has cleared up. Neither of us lost any sense of taste or smell, or seem to have any long COVID issues. Those vaccines are miracles. 💉
Also, the youngest, who is home from college, never had symptoms and never tested positive. 🤷🏻♂️😂

I was tested positive for Covid-19 the first time during the pandemic yesterday and I really feel miserable. I did not expect it to be like that with three times vaccinated and the omicron variant that is supposed to be milder in the course.

I'm sorry to hear this, paleiko! Yes, I was surprised when I got it with 3x vax at how bad I felt. I hope it passes really quickly for you! Catch up on sleep, liquids, and TV.

Fingers crossed it is only mild & that you won't get too sick

Feel better. When I had it in June I felt pretty bad for a week & a half. Take care.
My niece tested positive for Covid, which means that my mom and sister (all three of them live together) will likely test positive soon. Apparently, she’s very sick and has a high fever and is vomiting quite a bit.

I hope she feels better soon. Do you need to get a test (just in case)? The reason I ask is that for the anti viral pills to work you need to get on them in the first 5 days.

Oh no! B’s fever is 40 Celsius (104 Fahrenheit)! If it gets any higher she’ll have to go the hospital. This is so scary.
Damn... 40º is too much. Hope it goes down soon. Otherwise, a visit to the hospital should be the right thing to do, indeed. Espero que se mejore pronto.
I'm so sorry to hear this, Danielle. I hope B recovers quickly. Although little ones sometimes get hit harder very quickly, they're of tough stuff and can often bounce back just as quickly. Thinking of you all.
Just wondering how your family is doing, Danielle . I hope a lot better.
Thank you so much for asking! Good news: B’s doing well! Her fever broke the other day, and today she’s been running after the puppy in the yard. The other two keep testing negative too, so let’s hope that continues.
