North Stage up until wherever the Bad Seeds are playing.
It's a tough shout, love Anna Calvi and the Spiritualized current set isn't grabbing me :/ The Smile are great but I have seen them this year...
Anna Calvi is really good, that would be a tough one. I don't know, Spiritualized are always interesting at the very least. The Smile are ok but it's kind of Radiohead light. That whole list looks good. Sleaford Mods would be good, too. It's all just warm up for the main event. I've got some Bad Seed tapes from the current tour & they are stellar. Too bad you're getting them on a festival rather than a proper standalone show. Fingers crossed we'll get them in the states soon. We've got this festival sort of locally next weekend. It's far enough away I'd have to get a room. I physically am not up for it though, I can barely do regular concerts these days. Not as good as yours but Sparks were awesome earlier this year & Modest Mouse are usually good. There's some other interesting stuff, too.
PS: I've got a video of Nick @ Montreux. Stunning. I have front row tickets for Placebo first week of September. I'm not feeling as enthusiastic about it as I was when I bought the tickets. I've seen a few setlists that don't have "Pure Morning" on them & that would be a huge disappointment!

I saw the Placebo tour warm up, got them again at Xmas - Pure Morning is officially on the list of songs Brian hates!
Sparks would definitely be top of my list for that line-up
Maybe Wet Leg too, just to see if they deserve the hype!
Triumph the Insult Comic Dog is awesome live. Saw him at a comedy festival in Vegas once. "Pure Morning" used to be my go to hangover song when I used to drink haha.

Pure Morning's a great song but they only brought it back for the Hits tour, kept it around for Meltdown and then dropped it again. New stuff is pretty good live, much better than the album takes.
Just got tickets for the Beths in February. Saw them last tour & they were fantastic. Very inexpensive, too ($25). New record out soon. steve , you might enjoy them. Right in the wheelhouse of stuff both of us tend to like.
Well, how was Nick? Disclaimer: I've read some reviews already.Â
He's got his own thread Jehnny Beth was the highlight of the day by a long way - she was ace, next level cool. Joan As Police Woman, Anna Calvi and The Smile were also well worth making the effort for.

It wasn't showing up on the home page. Being lazy due to the shellshock of just waking up. It's hot here again & the temperature isn't going down to comfortable levels conducive to sleep.
