New album before the end of March 20XXX!

A bust for me. I visited my two local (within an hour's drive) vinyl record shops, no luck.

The 2nd shop that I visited today had a double-vinyl new remaster of "Mixed Up". Bought it for $43 dollars. This is now the third version of Mixed Up I have bought, the one I bought in 1990 was my very first Cure album (sniff sniff).

This double-vinyl has the silver foil lettering like my original CD. I so love this album as its my first.

We will look around Walmart and see if they have Songs...

My local Walmart did not have this album. They did have approx. 43 Taylor Swift vinyl records, her entire back catalogue.

No accounting for taste...

My best mate Robi just came past my house walking his dog. He came with me to the Budapest gigs in 2016 & 2022 on account of the fact he loves Shake Dog Shake & One Hundred Years & a few others. I sent him a stereo downmix of the atmos immersive master to listen to &, although he's not a typical The Cure fan (he's more a classic/ progressive rock fan), he absolutely fell in love with the album.
So, whoever secret santa'd me with the deluxe CD , it has found a good home as I gave it to him when he came by.

I buy vinyl records at thrift stores, vinyl record shops, on ebay, Target, and at Walmart.

At Walmart, I have purchased the following vinyl records:

Boston by Boston
Journey - Escape
Iron Maiden - Somewhere in Time
Bruce Dickinson - The Mandrake Project

The prices were right (around $24.95) and these were all Walmart exclusive editions (various colors or transparent).

At Target, I only window shop because they are too darn expensive. An exception was they had a stack of Al Green's Let Stay Together (1972) vinyls discounted to $7.45. That will probably be the only Target purchase I make in their vinyl section. Their whole store is overpriced, to be honest.

The Cure has notified me of their digital edition including four bonus Shoreline tracks for $4.95, I will try that tonight and see if it works...
