We still have the place at the hospital, so ig anything goes wrong, we can come back anytime!

I’m very thankful to live in Denmark. I don’t dare to calculate what 3 weeks hospital will cost in the US.
But one thing is sure, I wouldn’t be able to feed her if I had to pay for hospital...

We are still hospitalized, but we have been home on a leave for two nights.

Sure it’s easier to be home, but then I’m all alone with everything, and that can be some.

My daughter sleeps a lot better, since she is sleeping in her own bed.

I try to take her for a walk... every day, and distract her from focusing on being hungry.

She is getting tired really fast, but she can feel when it gets too much.

I think we just have to wait and hope for a little progress every day

ninja, so glad to just see the good news. That is outstanding. Especially since it seems like teratomas are usually what's found in older patients - definitely the better of the two possibilities! Phew!

I hope things are looking better for all now that your daughter is recovering at home. What an exhausting ordeal in all respects.

So!
Today has been a splendid day for my daughter, because she went horse riding again!

That actually means that her recovery is going very well!

We cut off 10 mg of the Prednisolon, so she is now doing 25 mg and a new cut off 10 mg on saturday!

She hasn’t been eating sedating medicine today, so she was spared for some of the side effects that causes (tremor and a awkward way of walking)

She is beginning to show moods and feelings, being funny and subtle again.

Thats amazing to experience how she recovers!

Thank You for all the kind support when I needed it the most!
