I had trouble getting into S2 of Picard. I really like S1, but not sure what happened. I might give it a go again after I finish Umbrella Academy later next week.
Aside from recap videos on YT, any tips?
If you have a lead on Brisbane 21 August 1992 - CT version, for the love of Bob, let me know. Please!

If you like the Q episodes of TNG etc. (I hate them), then you should find it quite good. Thankfully Q's appearances are kept to a minimum. Visually it's exquisite & there are some good Borg moments. Especially the interactions with Agnes. It can feel a bit preachy, but I would just go with it for what it is without trying to nit-pick too much.
I don't think I ever watched TNG more than on and off, here and there. I was an OG Shatner boy then the movies then I lost interest.
Q is the single most irritating character to ever darken Star Trek's sliding doors.
Think of him as an omnipotent, trans-dimensional space troll who just delights in being a dick every time he rocks up presenting the crew(s) with ever more ridiculous tasks to get out of an entirely fictitious pickle he's deliberately stranded them in despite that fact he can just click his fingers and put everything back as it should be. Only ever dragged out when the writers can't think of any good stories to tell.
Strange New Worlds was a goody this week. Finally we get to see the Gorn & they're a hell of a lot scarier than the ones Kirk used to fight with. This episode was straight out of the Alien playbook. Pike's quiff needs its own spin off series though

I'd totally forgotten about the whole Xindi thing with Enterprise. & I'll tell you what, the MACOs are terrible shots. They could have been stormtroopers
I am on the final season of Enterprise & had completely forgotten just how bad it was. On top of that it has the absolute worst Star Trek theme that ever came into existence. Who the hell signed off on that?
Thats was my last encounter with Trek, gave up after that. Tried Picard but meh.
The Motion Picture and Khan are getting new cinema 4k releases over here, new master scans with effects etc. all cleaned up. Might give them a whirl if they're local!
