I haven’t followed this thread at all given the fact I’m no Trekkie. But the Mr and I are introducing our 9 yo progeny to ST with The Devil in the Dark OG episode tonight.
I did think that it all came together too quickly at the end, and the build to that point was too slow. Perhaps if they'd taken one or two eps less to get to the point where they were at the beginning of the last ep, thrown in an attempt and failure in the penultimate ep, then rise to the challenge and win in the last, it might've seemed less drawn out and at the same time rushed?
What do I know, though?
If you have a lead on Brisbane 21 August 1992 - CT version, for the love of Bob, let me know. Please!
I watched every episode of TNG, Voyager and Enterprise weekly, and again on DVD. They were great fun. Never did DS9. The new crop are too politically correct.
Does the new season of Discovery have the whispering woman in it still? She is rather terrible. This is what happens when 'actors' have no stage experience and there's an agenda.
Strange New Worlds was dodgy last time around. Only the first and final episode were relevant. Anson Mount makes for a good captain. He was cool as Bohannon, less so here in that uniform. And why is he cooking leftovers?
I couldn't put myself through S2 of Picard. S1 started off well, then, as usual, the series had to stop for pizza in the woods. I stayed for Jeri Ryan though.
I'll wait for Battlestar Galactica. Maybe I should rewatch the remake again... 😁
It would be so perfect If you would just fall out the window
