Ok. I had a very different take on episode 4 from the rest of you, I'm afraid. I thought episodes 1 + 2 were good, and episode 3 was really good. But this new one... ooof. The whole Weedy family thought it was atrocious! The questioning and threatening to torture Little Leia was ridiculously bad. Didn't seem like any thought went into the the plot of this episode.
I love Little Leia. She (and her interplay with Obi-Wan) are BY FAR the best thing about this show. But… woof… that was horrible.
But I'm glad you guys all dug it. To each their own!
I'm with you weedy, i thought each of the first three episodes got better than the last but 4 was a bit of a sleeper. Aside from the hall of jedi's that ben discovered, there wasn't a lot happening. even the action scenes in the hallways weren't overly exciting.

They missed a trick with that, some of them should have been recognisable named Jedi from the films.

absolutely. If you didn't watch any of the animated series (which I didn't) I don't think anyone was recongizable!
ah ok. I heard that there was one (Tera Sinube) but I don't know who that is!
Had forgotten his name, but yeah he could have been one from early Clone Wars - as soon as you see a pic of him in context its easier to join the dots. He was in a couple of episodes as the old 'tortoise' master to Ahsoka's 'hare'. It's insane how much content and plot is buried in CW and Rebels..

yup, so much info in those shows. I really enjoyed them, especially when I rewatched The Clone Wars in chronological order, not release order. way better.

Much better episode today with a nice twist in the story & a demonstration that the safest place to be when a bunch of storm troopers launches a full scale assault is directly in front of them. The moment the ship took off was such a massive nod to when the Falcon escaped on Tatooine in IV. Heydon Christensen is still terrible though

yeah I enjoyed it a lot. I really like that little fake-out at the end with the ships. Mind you seeing Vader do that, really made me question the writing in ep4 where he was "unable" to get Obi thru the second firewall.
I loved seeing Crispy rip the ship to pieces after pulling it back down (like he did with an AT-DP in Rebels), that was awesome.
I really enjoyed the scene with Third Sister and Vader, but for her to think she could sneak up on Crispy like that was just stupid.
I liked the flashbacks, but um, did they forget to de-age Hayden? I'm no technical guru but he didn't look young at all! That was hilariously bad!
I thought for sure the big droid whose designation escapes me, would have saved Tala, I was sad when she ended up painting the walls. I really enjoyed her char.
The Grand Inquisitor was alive???!!! Gasp! Awe! Shock! heheheh I'm glad he came back, that was fun.
I'm guessing 3rdSissy will either die in the finale, or turn back to the light, she can't know about LUUUUUUKE and stay on the baddie's side. So many more sleeps till we find out! WAH!
All in all, a thoroughly enjoyable episode. Happy Daze.

Redemption like no other after the previous episode! Love Vader's moments, liked the Third Sister twist, the battles were exciting. Honestly, liked everything about this episode except that they didn't de-age Hayden for his scenes. He looked sooooo old.
I wouldn't call the series an unqualified success, but episodes 3 and 5 were really some of the best episodes of SW we've seen. Very curious how they'll wrap this up next episode!

I reckon: They fight Vader wins but he finds out about Luke but that little slither of good in him spares Kenobi and Luke on the basis that he never sees Obi Wan ever again. Cos he saved Luke and Padme when the Emperor just lied to him.
