MBV? i saw them a few years ago. brilliant. & loud.
Thats the one! Missed them around Loveless. Love Soon but too much water under the bridge to go see them now..
it's worth seeing them just for "do you realize". the apocalypse version. it was like standing next to a running jet engine. pretty much settled the encore question definitively. nowhere to go from there. people just stood around stunned. i saw the bass player is in thurston moore's current band. if you can find it, primal scream "live in japan" has kevin shields contributing to the mayhem. highly recommended.
Maybe one day but there're still so many bands to see!
Soon is how I like my MBV - when everyone else was getting into Loveless I was already smitten with Curve (which also means I can never like Garbage who stole their whole thing but made it pop)

"you made me realize". i got flaming lips on the brain as i'm seeing them soon. you better be careful about garbage. shirley might come over & punish you!
Peter Murphy Tori Amos Muse The Damned Clan Of Xymox Sisters of Mercy Florence and the Machine The Cure Powderfinger Lily Allen
Sisters of Mercy?
Correct! They played in Australia 5 years ago as a part of a festival and did some sideshows in some states but I was still in my hometown (not a capital city) and didn't plan travelling to see them so missed out although a couple of my friends did see them. I think I'll have to see them overseas if I ever want to.

Sadly and I am a huge Pink Floyd fan I never saw them but I did see Roger Waters. Thank you to Chuck for not playing because he already knew the answer to that. HAHA
