I used to be a Fan of them, really. Had them in my top 5 list of favorite music bands, not anymore. Seems i forgot them somewhere during the road. Saw them a couple of times. The third one they never appeared on stage, something has gone wrong with Gahan's health and they finally canceled while we've been waiting for some hours. 'Black Celebration' still sounds good though

Hello and welcome to the forum Mr. Pinkeyes I see you've jumped right in-good to not be shy! It would be nice if you can share something about yourself or the thread topic besides just a word or two agreeing.
the kills (this is 1 that i haven't seen & really want to)
Nope! Guess I was pretty tricky with me list
i'm going to be shocked if this is the one because even i've seen them! sleater-kinney. & i saw them before they were a real big deal. was pretty impressed. PS: you much more popular. everybody gave up on my 2nd list. true, it was fairly eclectic but that's how i roll.

Well, be shocked friend, because you got it. They're the band everyone assumes I must love but I'm fairly ambivalent about them.
PS no, I'm not I must've missed your second list-easy to lose track in this thread! I thought you were done.
2nd list Emerson Lake & Palmer The Scorpions Michael Jackson Roxy Music The Indigo Girls Motley Crue Van Morrison Loretta Lynn Faith No More The Sex Pistols

provincial thing here. they opened for patti smith & i showed up for them. that was the show where patti really made idiotic statements about the world trade organization riots here. you know, the one where the anarchists went about breaking windows etc. they tacked themselves onto a worthwhile & peaceful march. favorite enduring image: anarchists climbing on n!ke town store spray painting & breaking windows. what shoes were they wearing you may well ask? n!ke of course!

Motley Crue?
nope. seen them at least 3 times maybe more. it was the 80s after all. i remember seeing them open for the stones twice. & year & half ago i saw their last show ever (if we're lucky) outside of LA. was in vegas @ xmas it seemed like 1 of those when in rome things. it was actually pretty entertaining & musically ok when vince neil wasn't singing. vince wore a floor length leather duster with a low cut shirt that showed off his man cleavage. bad choice as he has put on more than a few lbs. from a distance he looked like stevie nicks with a beard!
