I'm gonna guess ELP? (It's getting confusing tracking the lists and answers!)
Here's a second list of unlikely bands with a big fat lie in it
Ennio Morricone Mavis Staples Curve Spinal Tap Jerry Lee Lewis Porno For Pyros Isaac Hayes My Bloody Valentine Slayer Steven Seagal
Nope on ELP. saw the works tour after they ditched the orchestra. i used to like prog rock as a youngster. different times. i think phil collins & the mega yes did me in on that. opening for ELP was journey debuting steve perry. had seen them before with greg rolie singing lead. at the time, thought he was much better. in retrospect, the steve perry stuff doesn't sound as bad. i'm going to guess steven seagal. if i'm wrong, 1 question: why?

It was less than 100 yards from the end of my road!
He's a spectacularly average blues guitarist. Who encored with Wild Thing and actually wore wardrobe from one of his films for the whole show.
Ennio Morricone. I would go see this if he conducted orchestra or something but I've never heard of him doing something like this. Would be cool though I think.
Nope! Supported Prince on the Nude tour, I always thought she was in that NPG line up too but apparently not :/
porno for pyros. i saw them once & was underwhelmed as i usually am by perry farrell. i saw jane's addiction several times & they were good once. & i was pretty "adjusted", so that may not be accurate, haha. oasis opened around the time morning glory first came out. porno should've went home after champagne supernova. it was a radio station show & sonic youth played too!
bingo! you got it. i luv van but have never seen him. he doesn't play around here often. last time he played it was waaaaay more than i could afford. add to that i've heard that like bob dyan, he is a roll of the dice. i've seen some transcendent dylan shows & some really mediocre ones. i would probably go see van now if the opportunity presented itself.
I love Jane's but I don't think I could face seeng them again, Dave & Perk are still great but PF is an embarassment. Saw Pornos one time, PF was an absolute mess and they managed to drive off a sizeable percentage of the crowd with insults.. You're gettng warmer thought - kind of the right era band!
