Today I learnt, that a television dart tournament kept me at work 15 mins after my shift was over, eventhough I actually eas done with the surgerys two hours before I actually left... Dart ffs!!! DART!!!
Today I learned that if you are pretentious you can pronounce "kiln" as "kil" and technically be correct (and technically be a pr!ck).
y'all got plenty of that in nyc. i had 1 acquaintance that sent me text @ 530 AM on a saturday. when i mentioned the 3 hour time difference, it was like sorry to interrupt your nap turn off your phone. exsqueeze me? 530 is not "nap" time on a non work day. they figure that since from nyc it is vitally important. i got a 1 finger reply to that! not talking about present company, of course.

chuckrh, I apologize on behalf of that sphincter. It sounds, though, more like a personality issue than a "NYC is the center <armpit> of the universe" issue.
Having lived on the west coast, I am pretty aware of that time difference, from both sides.

I'm getting ever closer to blocking people who retweet/reply to accounts I've already blocked.
I've learned that people will bully you no matter what age. And when you reach out to them as an adult to find out why, seeing as you have never met them before in your life, they block you. I've learned people are cowards.

I’ve learned if you have a problem with somebody chances are somebody else does to, (BTW this is work related), if you have patience the person you have a problem with will piss off somebody else and do themselves in. In my particular case I started at a new company last month and wanted an earlier start to so I could go to my other job after the first one. The person that trained snaked that start time away from causing me to have to quit the other job because I couldn’t make it there in time. She did herself in by calling out too much and coming in late too often and she pissed off the boss, who gave me back the start time I wanted and I got the second job back. The funny thing is I did nothing to her she did it all to herself but somehow she blames me for her call outs and showing up late to work. I love it when people are A holes and do themselves in it just cracks me up. Karma

Dealing with this in our small apartment building, ATM. There is one resident who consistently blatantly lies and badmouths people. We have 50% new residents as of a year ago. Slowly but surely, they are beginning to see what an asswad she is, and I haven't had to let them know she is a pathological nutjob. Save

Be patient just wait for the fall somebody else in your building will most likely confront this person and they will react poorly and show themselves to the entire building.
