I think I might give up on Fear Of... I do like the settings & covering the beginning of the apocalypse, but oh boy are the characters rubbish? Travis has to be THE most boring person in the universe.
I agree. Nicolas, and Strand are about the only 2 characters i care about.

Watched the first episode of the new season. It made me feel so ill and devastated at the same time. I watch my fair share of violent films, but this one was barely watchable. If I didn't have to go to work tomorrow, I would definitely be moping around the house in slippers and pj's, in need of grief counseling. That said, "suck my b***s" Negan.

negan is plenty bad man. good choice to play him. as i get older, the violence is getting more off putting. as long as fakey pretend, ok (this is mostly but it was close to being too much). like ash vs evil dead is over the top but very pretend. too much ugliness in the real world right now.
I think we became very desensitised to the violence primarily as most of the killing was of "undead people". Once it spills into the realm of "living people" it feels more gruesome even if it's just as graphic. Spoilers or not, I am deffo looking forward to seeing it tonight
