In their downtime everyone seems to have become Robin Hood.
Who the heck is Duncan? He's enormous.
What is this "commonwealth" all about then? & where did they manufacture that armour?
Poor old Eugene. "Thankyou for holding back your titters". LOL

& the moral of the story is don't eat hand grenades in a busy train car.

Why is Eugene still alive? Negan needs to find Lucille's sister & take care of that for us! s0634

Which episode were you watching ? The one I recorded Sunday night featured a group of people (and one dog) trapped in a subway train. Maggie told the most horrific story too about an old man.

The major events are the same - the prison, the Governor, Hilltop, Negan, Whisperers etc.

There's no Daryl, most of the other characters are similar although who survives/dies is different. Some of the bigger moments are more shocking in the comic - Lori's death was a big deal and very different, Dale was eaten by cannibals after being bitten, Rick loses a hand very early on. The overall fatality rate is much higher, very few characters are unscathed.
Probably more consistent and satisfying than the TV show overall - less padding and soap opera stuff.

+ I know how it ends - nyah, nyah!

I'll watch it to the bitter end now as I have become so invested in it.
There are occasional excellent moments, but, for the most part, it's a bit of a trudge/ rinse & repeat job.
Season 8's one of the better ones & the current season (which will be the last) is a marked improvement.
I'm probably a bit less discerning as I haven't read the comic books so I'm not constantly picking holes in it
