I'm trying to gather some evidence around some issues I'm having with Periscope on my Android phone. I'm hoping to get this sorted before my frist The Cure Tour 2016 appearance!
It seems I am able to make live broadcast fairly successfully, but various people (myself included) cannot then view the replays.
I've just recorded another test. Can I ask Twitter users if they can view any of m broadcasts at twitter.com/paulwe_uk ?
I'd also like to know if you used an iOS/Android or Windows device/laptop?
Hey paulwUK when I try to view your scope I have similar results to Pipperoo...within twitter the image shows up but no sound. When I click on "watch on periscope tv", your channel shows up in my web browser, but the videos don't show at all (no picture, no sound)
When I try to view stuff on my iPhone, the videos load up in the app, but there's no sound. So odd!
On OSX/ Safari on twitter I can see the video, but no sound at all
On Moto X Pure Edition, on your twitter timeline, just getting a black screen. On the same phone with the periscope app, just getting a loading message with a scrolling diagonal lines motif.
The Moto has the latest Marshmallow OS.
It was fine when you did the garden stuff the other day, but I watched those live. The replays seem to just hang for some reason.

Thanks Steve.
That pretty much confirms the theories that I'm coming up with, namely:
Watching Live (seems ok) is very different to Replay
Replays using Android seem particularly problematic
i'm still dealing with periscope support so fingers crossed.
WMS my favourite, not Loaded, saw it and sadly heard it straight away! I believe my original hypothesis has been proved correct
Yep, it seems you were right all along :-)
The first 2 tests were on a Samsung phone using my Periscope account. All work fine.
The 3rd test was using my Vodafone phone again - I can sort of view the replay but absolutely no sound.
Think I will complain to Vodafone!
Vodafone own brand phones are an absolute pile of rubbish, I get given one as a courtesy phone if ever my Samsung has to go in for repair and it feels like spending three days with one of your arms chopped off, useless things IMHO!

I didn't really have a choice. I dropped my iPhone in water and as it was my work phone I needed it replaced straight away so went to the nearest Vodafone shop and got what was reasonably priced. Obviously now I know why it was cheaper than the Samsungs. I had to replace the microphone almost immediately.
