Done it. With flickr, use the share arrow & select the BB code option. You'll get this link to the image. "https://farm8.staticflickr.com/7537/16058556037_da28761c3e_z.jpg". Then paste that into the image insert tool here & it should be a direct url to the image & yes. It was worth the effort
Thank you Steve for figuring it out but I don't know the share arrow is and I'm still doing something wrong, I hate it when I can't do something grrr.
No worries. It took me 3 tries On your first link to your flickr album there are 3 icons to the bottom right of the image. A star, a curved arrow & an arrow pointing down. The curved arrow is the share option (mouse over it to see). Click it & you'll see the options (Share, Embed, BBcode). Click BBcode & that'll give you a linky. That's how I did it. If anyone else is more aux fait with flickr, maybe there's an easier way.
Despite the clear instructions (I've found the arrow and the BBcode etc) and it's still not doing it, I admit defeat! So if you you want to look at more squirrels you can go to my Flickr page. However, I realise that the subject matter is a bit select, I must upload my fungi and trees at an odd angle collection.
BTW I have a Lumix DMC-TZ60 and I love it, compact but takes decent pics inside and outdoors

Thanks to Steve and his IT elves I can now random things I like to take pictures of when out walking... (for Flickr you just paste the BBcode straight into the post without using the 'Insert Image' thingy)
Yay - well done, deepwater! Photobucket is a copy and paste too - if anyone can show me how to make the images smaller on here, I'd be grateful
Is it ok to post hilariously awful photos in here? My mom cleared out her loft and found a hitherto hidden abomination she took of me and my dad at my graduation - wouldn't be so bad, but we didn't get an official photo - this might be the only surviving one!
