It's a bit of a new area for them isn't it? I can't remember them cancelling any shows in protest at anything. Keeping my eyes on the official site in case
Given the recent spate of show cancellations in NC, what do you think are the odds on The Cure deciding to cancel the Charlotte show?
I have never known Robert to pass up an opportunity to speak out about stuff he despises. I would think in spite of it they WOULD NOT cancel so he could give NC some serious lip, and also play way past curfew to really piss them off.

Here is an interesting article about performers who are not cancelling NC shows to protest, but are donating revenue form the NC shows to various LGBTQ organizations. Maybe the Cure will follow this path. fortune.com/2016/04/14/north-carolina-hb2-law-stars/

I knew Lauper was going to do that & it is a good alternative form of action. Best not to take it out on the audiences for a decision made by an asshat, bigoted administration.

I agree with you on that 100%, take it out on the politicians and bigoted administration, not the fans.

This right here. Because 1. Why take out on the audience and 2. The odds are pretty high if your audience knows your stance on things they are going to share the same values. So you are punishing the people who believe what you believe probably.
