Just finished the new episode & did enjoy Capaldi in the role. The story was a tad batshiat crazy though. Took me a good 20 minutes to figure out what on earth was happening. Daleks next week
I thought it was boring. And if those dang Daleks are on next week, pass.

It took a while to get moving. I think this is the first time we've seen the Doctor having difficulty coming to terms with his regenerated self. I look forward to the Daleks though. As long as they're not those ridiculous multicoloured tupperware ones
Almost caught up with the new series and not disappointed! Love the new doctor, the stories, new titles and title music ... ah Dr Who is back on tracks after that Dr impostor of the last few years.

I still like what Mat Smith did with the Doctor. Even if it was a bit like he'd overdosed on red bull occasionally. The stories were a bit flaky at times though, but the connection to Amy Pond was incredible & when Rory & Amy bowed out I think I actually cried for a couple of days. That episode wiped me out. I am liking Capaldi's new take too. I'm a bit perturbed by this "promised land" story arc though. Not sure where that's going just yet. Got episode 4 ready to run, so maybe a few answers lie in there.
... is 'heaven' really a creation of The Master? Soz, I really couldn't warm to Matt Smith -maybe he tried too hard to be eccentric - nor did I like Amy & Rory. But it is sad when your favourites go, I remember being heartbroken when Peter Davison was the Dr no more.
New episode was cool except for the Teller. I think it was a bit too "out there". Looked like something out of the Cantina in Mos Eisly On the upside it had Keeley Hawes. Twice
The beeb are usually pretty good. But that was a pretty shiatty thing to do. I thought she was god at first (not our GOD). Clara has taken a lot of flack on the interwebs. I wish people would leave her alone. She's very good. Not Amy or Sarah Jane, but she's not supposed to be.
