Just watched the easter special. After the last couple I was expecting more I think. Good to see the Sea Devils after all this time, but the whole thing seemed a bit rushed. One more for Jodie & it's all change

So long Jodie. We barely knew ye Though to be completely Frank, that finale was probably the worst regeneration episode I have ever watched. I spent 90 minutes wondering what the heck was happening & every 5 minutes an old face showed up seemingly just for the sake of it. Also not really getting why Tennant's back. His Doctor was always great, but what's the point? He's only going to get changed into Gatwa after a couple of episodes.
I don't watch the show (my relatives do) but when I heard Ncuti Gatwa was the new dr. I was so happy! He was my favorite actor on Sex Education. I love hiiiiimmmmm!

Seeing Tennant back with Catherine Tate was a real treat & it was a great episode full of action & emotion. Wasn't keen on the Meep though. One of the worst monsters in the history of Doctor Who. And they did make a bit of a meal about the binary/ non-binary thing. I've said it before, I honestly don't care & don't feel that a statement needs to be made. That all seemed a bit forced really.

I did enjoy the new episodes this weekend but Gatwa could probably be a bit full-on for many people. He was awesome in Sex Education. Perfect in fact. But he's almost playing the same character in Doctor Who.

That finale was really good. I'll miss Ruby. Really odd that she got canned after just one season. &, on the subject of seasons. Am I the only person who thinks 8 episodes is way too short?
