I've watched this since I was knee high to a grasshopper & have fond memories of settling down on a Saturday evening with a plate of hot dogs to see the latest gripping instalment. At least when I wasn't hiding behind a cushion when the sea monsters came on. I sort of grew up on John Pertwee & Tom Baker's (met him for a book signing once) Doctors mainly & totally lost interest when Sylvester McCoy became the 7th Doctor. My interest had already been reduced as Peter Davidson & Colin Baker just weren't up to my imagining of what the Doctor should be. Besides, my growing interest in music had taken over my addled little brain. But the resurrection of the series in 2005 & the three Doctors that have since been in it has really gripped me.
On 30th of March a seventh series starts & the trailer has been posted on youtube
I'll miss Amy a lot. Clara has a lot to live up to really, but it looks promising.
So. Anyone else in the nerd camp with me?
Fave Doctor? Opinions on the new ones? Tupperware Daleks or more sinister than the old ones?
another whovian can't wait for the second part of the season either
fav dr : tom baker
i think that david tennant was excellent , with the wit of tom , he made the dr his own and he also had catherine tate has is companion (funny lady) what else can i say . matt smith i think will go on to become an excellent dr in his own right if the writers keep coming up with excellent scripts .

Another Who Nerd here. I have loved all the new doctors so far. I love the Ponds, and River Song, and Capt. Jack......
Taken from NME Interview
Interviewer: If you could have one god-like power such as your title now, what would it be?
Robert: Uh, to ban religion for a year, actually to stop everyone believing in god for just one year and see how the world turns.
