Upset. Recently received news that 600 workers at my organization will be laid off before Christmas. TBH, based on what I’ve seen/ heard this is just the tip of the iceberg. There’s a lot of Shirt coming down the pipeline.

They’re laying off the term/temporary workers first, so I should be fine (I’m w
permanent employee). I at least really hope so. I am very concerned about the group being laid off though..what a Shirtty time.

If they are temporary, wouldn't they already know when they started?
At least whenever my previous employment ever hired someone temporary, they already knew of the end date?
