Not out of the woods yet unfortunately. Migraines that last multiple days are the bane of my existence. Maybe I should ask Santa (or my doctor) for medication this Christmas.
Have you seen a doctor about them? I know there are some meds out there that can help. & they're not narcotic. I've suffered from them in the past but don't get them often anymore fortunately. My body giving me a break for a change. I do have a headache today though but not migraine.
Not bloated which is an accomplishment during the start of the American gluttony season. I don't eat much & stuck to that yesterday. & BTW turkey is waaaaaaay overrated.

I’ve been seeing doctors for years about the migraines. They are linked to my menstrual cycle, so they’re a monthly thing for me. Over the years I’ve taken supplements, changed my diet, taken meds etc, to help deal with this issue. What works best for me is a combination of rest and meds, but despite my efforts, these migraines can be debilitating. This has been a particularly bad month.

Well, I hope you get some relief today. I used to sit in a quiet dark room when I got them. Not optimal for work though! You feel better!

Thanksgiving is probably my favourite holiday. We celebrate it in October though, and it’s held to celebrate the harvest. I think I love it because we just gather together to enjoy a fabulous meal and each other’s company. No presents or pressure, it’s just fun!

Roasted turkey is probably my favourite meal…
I guess we’re just incompatible Chuck!
Ying & yang. Can't have a whole without the 2 parts!

PS: you have to remember I'm poisoned this week which colours things. No appetite & stuff doesn't taste good when you're nauseous. Since I wasn't happening on a social level I put together a light Thanksgiving meal at the grocery store deli. I wasn't up for cooking. TBH the only thing that tasted decent was the cranberry sauce. & maybe the mashed potatoes.

Yeah I didn’t think about the treatments you’re going through, and how it makes food taste like sawdust. Definitely not ideal. Hugs to you! Do you think you’ll be feeling better for Christmas turkey?

Yes. Next chemo dose is probably in 2 months. I have some other unpleasant stuff coming before then but no week long poisonings. Thank you Danielle !
Shaken. Last night during our final walk, my dog was attacked by a huge dog. It was off leash and bingo was not. That dog gripped Bingo with so much force, that he cried. There’s still slobber marks on bingo from where the dog bit him. I checked him over multiple times, and he looks okay. I’m thinking of booking an appointment with the vet though to check things over.
I got nipped too, but it’s nothing serious. The owner, who was I guess in shock during the initial attack, stood there for a few moments before he came to help me. He told me he couldn’t believe his dog did that and that it was the first time something like this ever happened. I swore at him, and told him to put his dog on a leash. FfS. I still feel shaky from this incident. I don’t know what I’d do if something horrible happened to my pup.

Hope you & Bingo are ok. There's a reason for leash laws.

Ugh i hate that. When we walk the dog we bring pepper spray with us for just that reason. Our neighbors little poodle dog was killed Because another neighbors lab was loose and went into THEIR yard and killed her. Its still going on a year later. Glad you two are OK. Bring pepper spray with you.

Oh my goodness that’s so horrible! Was the lab put down???
pepper spray, tasers and all that jazz are illegal in Canada. I wish I could have some though, I’d feel much better about going out, especially at night. There’s coyotes around here too, and I don’t know what I’d do if we were attacked by one…
